Position: Java Programmer
Location: Shreveport, Louisiana

Bowman Systems, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Java developer for development of client server application. Candidates should be familiar with one or more user interface toolkits such as GTK, QT, MFC, wxWindows, VCL, GWT, etc. Experience with SQL and RDBMs technologies highly favored. Exposure to various Java technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Ant and general development technologies such as CSS, XML, CVS, Subversion are pluses. Previous experience working in a team environment also highly desired.

The ideal candidate will have used Java and GWT to develop web front-ends for database backends.

With this position, we’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated developer who can step in and start cranking out code. Candidates should be prepared to talk about their skill set in detail. Code samples, demos, and/or listing of publicly-accessible websites you have worked on will be beneficial.

Position:

Education and typical Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience working with customers, preferably in a related field
