Position: Client Support Specialist

Bowman Systems, LLC seeks an individual to provide client support for all customers of the Bowman Systems Client Tracking and Case Management system. We view client support as one of the most critical roles in our company, and as such, we require a dedicated professional for this position.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the customer receives a high level of service when they call with their questions and concerns, and they must be able to execute strategies and processes that will benefit both the customer and Bowman Systems until questions and concerns are resolved. A major responsibility is to take often cryptic questions or problems from customers and form these into well defined problem statements or statements of need.

The person hired for this position will be the high level contact for all customers who have support issues related to our web based software programs, and must be able to answer questions related to operation, configurations, and possible problems, as well as have an ability to know when a problem must be escalated. It is important that this individual can reasonably ensure that the escalated problem is real and ready for further investigation, reducing and narrowly defining the issue(s) so that minimum investigation time is required.

This individual requires strong interpersonal and motivational skills with the ability to communicate effectively. It is also important to have a patient, ego-less approach to customer support and troubleshooting. Good written communication is also required, as well as proficiency in the use of personal computers and various software applications. The ideal candidate must be a team player, have a well disciplined / organized approach to time and task management, and exhibit qualities that illustrate a dedication to quality and complete customer satisfaction.

Position:

Education and Typical Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience working with customers, preferably in a related field
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives
  • Organized, goal oriented, motivated self starter who can work well in a team environment
  • Manage multiple projects at a time, taking every measure possible to insure that no project falls behind schedule or an incomplete issue occurs.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Within a 6 month time period, have a good understanding of all software offerings and features
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge / Understanding of Social Service Organizations
  • A degree in computer science or equivalent experience
