Bowman Systems’ employees are also committed to serving their community by volunteering their time in support of local organizations. It is with great pride that we announce the following appointments:
 
Robert Bowman, president of Bowman Systems, was recently elected as vice-chairman of the Volunteers of America North Louisiana Board of Directors. Volunteers of America of North Louisiana is a locally-governed and locally-managed affiliate of one of the nation's oldest, largest and most diversified faith-based charities. VOA of North Louisiana touches the lives of thousands in need by helping inner-city kids in Shreveport, people with mental illness in Alexandria, and provides an Early Head Start program in Monroe.
 
Mr. Bowman was also elected to the Board of Directors of United Way of Northwest Louisiana. The United Way is dedicated to improving lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities.
 
Andrew Twyman, Bowman Systems’ Chief Operating Officer, is also a member of the VOA of North Louisiana Board of Directors, and has been for the past 3 years.
 
Josh Johnson, Bowman Systems’ Vice President of Customer Relations, has been a board member of Hope for the Homeless for the past year. Hope for the Homeless exists to address the housing and service needs of the homeless that will effectively transition them from homelessness to permanent and/or permanent supported housing and self-sufficiency.

Bowman Systems’ products allow case managers to work effectively with individual clients and give agencies the ability to tailor their assistance to the needs of the client. With Bowman Systems’ products, the ability to collect demographic and service information over time results in the collection of community wide data. This data is transformed into information which is a vital benefit to view service trends and to decipher the effectiveness of the agencies’ programs. These insights may then be presented to funding agencies in order to show outcome results which may promote further development of programs based on the needs of the community.
