Position: Account Development Coordinator

Bowman Systems L.L.C. is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Company’s first contact point for incoming sales calls and internet inquiries. The position supports and coordinates new account development activity, assists outside sales and business development, and coordinates the participation of respective staff as appropriate, as well as monitors progress on related cultivation activities. This individual must be customer oriented with excellent communication and writing skills. Organization is a priority.  

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the social services sector, both public and private.

As the RFP Response Coordinator, the candidate will maintain records of incoming RFP’s and their due dates.  The individual monitors progress on proposal writing assignments of the various team members, and assembles and submits the final proposal. 
 
Early phase account development activities include tracking requests and working with the Business Development Associate to recruit staff members to conduct demos. The candidate prepares pricing schedules to accompany formal proposals and/or in response to specific pricing requests as well as creates and updates necessary customer relationship management (CRM) entries.
 
The Account Development Coordinator also works closely and regularly with the Business Development Associate to coordinate activities of two departments, i.e., coordinates account development activities with Customer Support Services as necessary and works with finance staff to set up new accounts and prepare contract packages.  This individual interfaces with the Consulting Team regarding requests for training services and/or presentations.

Education and Typical Years of Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with customers, preferably in a related field

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
