Position: ServicePoint™ Dedicated User Support Specialist Location: Fairfax, VA Description: Bowman Systems L.L.C. is seeking a ServicePoint™ Dedicated User Support Specialist. This dedicated position supports the mission to prevent and eliminate homelessness. The individual seeking this position must be familiar with homelessness and confidentiality issues. The homeless management information system (HMIS) called ServicePoint™, is a web-based data management tool used by social service agencies in the Fairfax, Virginia area. This position is based in Fairfax, Virginia. The individual will be responsible for training, providing technical assistance, reporting, and monitoring system users. Experience using ServicePoint™, other web-based data systems, and Business Objects is a plus. The candidate for this position must have strong interpersonal and motivational skills. In addition, the individual must possess a patient, ego-less approach to customer support and troubleshooting. The ability to provide technical assistance by telephone, email, and face-to-face contact is essential. All duties are performed in a professional and timely manner, in an office environment where security, responsibility, and accountability are of the highest importance. Frequent local travel, as well as travel in the Fairfax County area, is required. Therefore, the individual must have access to a vehicle at all times. Training at the main office located in Shreveport, Louisiana may be required. Position: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The individual may need to be available for extended hours of work on a limited basis. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Full benefits are available that include: health, dental and life insurance; sick leave and vacation leave; and 401(k) benefits. Candidates must agree to submit to a criminal background screening prior to date of hire. Education and Typical Work Experience: At a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree is required; training or educator experience is a plus.
